On June 15-16, 2022, the First International Pharmaceutical Forum of Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent. The event was organized by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Association of Representative Offices of Foreign Pharmaceutical Companies and Manufacturers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The forum is aimed at bringing together regulators, international and local manufacturers, distributors and representatives of pharmacy chains to discuss new trends in the pharmaceutical industry, share best practices and prospects for the future of the pharmaceutical industry in the region.

Elena Nevolina acted as moderator of the panel session "The Future of the Retail Market - Prospects for Development in a Rapidly Changing Digital World", dedicated to the analysis of pharmaceutical distribution in the structure of the pharmaceutical industry of Uzbekistan, and discussion of models of interaction between manufacturers, distributors and pharmacy chains, trends and directions of development, measures to improve pharmaceutical distribution in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
