On April 4-6, 2023, the exhibition and conference "Ingredients and Additives" took place in Moscow.

During the conference, a round table was held dedicated to market dynamics, trends and new directions in the production and sale of food supplements. ACHI Executive Director Elena Nevolina moderated the event.

Among the speakers there were Yulia Nechaeva, Director of Strategic Research at DSM Group, Ivan Dyndikov, Development Director of SRO SP BAD, Marina Ponomareva, EAS Strategies expert, Yegor Zhavoronkov, Head of the Pharma group, CRPT, Konstantin Eller, Dr. c.s. head of the laboratory of metabolomic and proteomic analysis of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Federal Research Center for Nutrition and Biotechnology", Ekaterina Bazhenova, Development Director of ACADEMY-T LLC, Ph.D.

The participants of the session discussed the dynamics of the development of the food supplement market in Russia, legislative and regulatory aspects and upcoming changes, as well as law enforcement and control and supervisory practices in the EAEU space, innovative developments and technologies for the production of food supplement, the role of introducing digital labeling in further development of the market and in preventing the entry of counterfeit and low-quality products, changes in consumer behavior and the attitude of pharmaceutical and medical workers to food supplements, best international practices in regulating the turnover of food supplements.
