ACHI acted as an information partner of the “14th Eurasian Pharmaceutical Forum”, which was held in Almaty, the Republic of Kazakhstan, on February 28 - March 1, 2023.

The event traditionally brought together the leading players of the industry market of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Armenia and Georgia, becoming a platform for an open dialogue of more than 300 participants - representatives of government regulators, international and local manufacturers, distributors and pharmacy chains, professional and patient communities.

Within the framework of the forum, the most pressing problems of the Eurasian pharmaceutical market were considered: the main changes in the regulation of the pharmaceutical activities of the common market, registration and expertise of medicines, price regulation, access to the market for innovative drugs, an overview of pharmaceutical markets, trends and development prospects, conducting clinical trials in the EAEU and CIS, localization opportunities, development of the distribution and pharmacy segments, as well as a system for labeling and traceability of medicines.

ACHI Executive Director Elena Nevolina took part in the strategic discussion: "Development of the distribution and pharmacy segments" and made a presentation of the results of the ACHI survey among consumers, pharmaceutical and medical workers regarding the interaction of consumers with doctors and pharmacy workers when choosing over-the-counter drugs, the role of education and training as the most effective channel for interaction between manufacturers and pharmaceutical workers.
